Stator wires were cut by the previous owner. 4 wires, this is a CDI motor!
 
 
A look at the piston through the exhaust port
Pull start side of the cases. The stud at the 5 o'clock position is supposed to be a bolt hole. Instead its an SAE stud, what a crummy repair. Also the pullstart mount at the 1 o'clock position is broken off completely.
Mutt before me tried to remove the jug by prying on the fins! Instead of that use a deadblow hammer or a rubber mallet to tap UP on the cylinder. NEVER pry on mating surfacecs!
